AUTFORCE, a technology leader in the field of quality inspection for the manufacturing industry, relies on atvise^®, the visualization solution from Bachmann.

autfactory is the test rig software from AUTFORCE, it starts on the PLC level and encompasses all areas up to the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) operating level. Thus AUTFORCE is the link between the customer-side IT environment and the place of value creation, the associated shopfloor.

autfactory also provides a comprehensive HMI/SCADA part that is indispensable for operation and monitoring of production equipment and thus essential for the process control level. Developing an in-house visualization solution for this purpose would have been a very complex option. So AUTFORCE sounded the market and quickly focused on atvise^® from Bachmann as the favorite system.

The open web-based architechture of atvise^® is similar to that of autfactory; in other words, integration of atvise^® into the autfactory program environment is quite simple. This advantage, along with the high flexibility and certified cybersecurity offered by atvise^®, were the primary reasons the two companies came together.

The team of AUTFORCE developers headed by Christoph Steiger also praised the ease of implementing projects with atvise^®; this was already accomplished "almost" on its own at the first presentation.

In addition to implementation in autfactory, atvise^® is also deployed in other AUTFORCE products, for instance in the inverter test rig and in the CUBES series inspection and test station. atvise^® not only solves the issue of CUBE machine visualization but also supports direct data exchange with autfactory.

Consequently, the decision to go with atvise^® as HMI/SCADA visualization solution was a key choice for AUTFORCE. With the integration of atvise^®, AUTFORCE can focus on further development of its own solutions and at the same time provide a future-oriented visualization solution to its customers.
