Efficient Parking with atvise®

With system integrator Indect electronics, multiple parking lots have already been equipped with atvise scada. The Dubai Mall or MGM  Las Vegas with five car parks, for example. The biggest challenge with project like these is 24/7 operation.  The sensors are in demand around the clock, and not only after a status change. This means that any faults can be visualized immediately. To update sign information in the parking garage usually takes about 2-3 seconds.

Dallas Airport

One current project is Dallas Airport, which is currently equipped with 11,900 sensors and around 1,000 signs. When all terminals and parking garages have been equipped, around 30,000 sensors are predicted to be in use.

Travelers will be able to see at a glance which parking space is occupied or free. This is made possible by sensors that contain 25 data points per sensor. If the occupancy of the parking space changes, 4-5 data points are also updated.

Dubai Mall Shopping Center

Developed by the Emaar Malls Group, the 12.1-million-sq ft shopping mall in Downtown Burj Dubai is located close to Burj Dubai, the world's tallest building.

To help guests find their destination amongst the 13.500 parking lots, Indect installed a parking guidance system based on atvise. In HMI displays with up to 1.400 dynamic elements, the operator can detect the status and occupancy of every single parking lot. The project consists of 1,5 million process variables in total.
