Control of Combined Heat and Power Plants

Burkhardt GmbH uses atvise® for the higher-level monitoring of combined heat and power (CHP) plants. atvise® serves as a control center for remote access and aggregates all essential plant data. Various departments, such as development, service and accounting, use the system and can access the plants worldwide via any terminal device. 

By switching to atvise®, it was possible to centralize various isolated applications (CHP plants) and thus achieve better maintainability. The higher-level atvise® solution provides an overview of all plants or of certain plant groups and allows access to the local visualization of the lower-level atvise® instances. 

Throughout implementation, attention was paid to user-centric design. Smartphone SingleSignOn capability for emergencies facilitates the use of the new solution. In future, the solution will continue to be expanded and more and more Burkhardt customers will benefit from the convenient remote access enabled by atvise®.
