With atvise® connect X, we are launching a new communication interface for exchanging process data with controllers and RTUs. It complements the atvise® product family and will replace the proven atvise® connect.
atvise® connect X supports Siemens S7controllers, including symbolic addressing with optimized data blocks, as well as Modbus TCP clients. This allows for the direct and reliable connection of common controllers used in industrial applications.
The integrated browse function enables the rapid configuration of control variables directly from within the engineering environment – without manually creating individual addresses.
Variables can be added or modified during operation without requiring a restart. This significantly reduces downtime and simplifies the maintenance of existing systems.
Whether standalone, distributed across multiple runtime instances, or remotely on different computers – atvise® connect X runs natively, virtually, or in a container and scales effortlessly from very small to very large applications.
Integrated diagnostic and statistics functions provide targeted support during commissioning and troubleshooting, ensuring smooth operation.
System Requirements & Portfolio Changes
atvise® connect X requires at least atvise® 3.15 and exclusively supports Ethernet-based network communication. For applications with Siemens controllers and Modbus devices, atvise® connect X is compatible with its predecessor, atvise® connect; however, testing existing applications is still recommended.
