The Seelisbergtunnel is part of the A2 motorway between the cantons of Uri and Nidwalden and is therefore an important part of the north-south axis of Switzerland. The company automation 3000 implemented atvise scada for the mission-critical fire detection system for the 10km (6 mile) tunnel.
