atvise^®

With the latest release of atvise webMI2ADS - which is for CE Versions 2.0.4 and for Windows Embedded Version 2.0.5  - various improvements and bug fixes have been implemented. Hereby the focus was very much on historisation features as well as certain alarming issues.

When downloading the latest version please read the release notes which are part of the installation guide.

Please note: iOS6 only works properly in conjunction with the atvise library of the upcoming version 2.3 of atvise.

Italy is a very important market for the atvise® product line and we therefore decided to extend our existing local distribution network. With the well-established company Telestar, we have found a perfect sales partner, who is focusing very much on the field of mechanical engineering. This matches very well the proven track record of atvise® products in this industrial segment and we therefore are seeing forward to a successful cooperation in northern Italy.

Telestar, with headquarters close to Milano, will display atvise® already on their booth on the SPS/IPC/Drives Parma in May.

Various players of the spanish market have shown potential interest in the atvise® product line. We therefore are now happy to inform, that the company efinetic is taking care of atvise® sales activities within Spain.

The headquaters are located in Barcelona, from were efinetic offers products and consultancy services for different industrial segments as water and waste water, infrastructures and building, waste treatment, railways, energy and renewable energy industry.

We are seeing forward to a prosperous partnership!

Der ausgebuchte OPC Day Austria stand ganz im Zeichen von OPC UA. Eine Vielzahl namhafter Hersteller der Automatisierungswelt als auch eine große Anzahl von Vertretern der Industrie nutzten die Möglichkeit, sich über die neuesten Entwicklungen rund um das Thema OPC UA zu informieren. Die OPC Foundation war nicht nur durch die lokale Vertretung Michael Haas vorort. Auch Tom Burke, President & Executive Director der OPC Foundation, ließ es sich nicht nehmen, seine Sichtweise in Bezug auf sinnvolle Standardisierung und dessen Vorteile vorzutragen. Aufgrund des Erfolges wird nun überlegt dises Event eventuell als jährliche Veranstaltung durchzuführen.

The fully booked OPC Day Austria was dominated by the subject OPC UA. A variety of well-known manufacturers of automation technology as well as a large number of industry representatives took the opportunity to learn about the latest developments on the topic OPC UA. The OPC Foundation was localy representated by Michael Haas. But also Tom Burke, the president & executive director of the OPC Foundation, attended in order to explain his point of view in terms of meaningful standardization and its benefits. Due to the success of the OPC Day Austria, it is considered to make this event on an annual base.

The release atvise 2.2 contains more than 600 dedicated bug fixes, improvements of existing features like SSO and SSL handling, preloading, XML import/export as well as new features (e.g. cross reference list, "Live Backup") and additional object displays (e.g. timer, "in-out-value").

Reducing the lead time for project realization and configuration was one of the main focuses of this release. All these messures further enhances the overall working experience with atvise.

You could find us on the Bachmann electronic booth, were we demonstrated the latest developments of our native webbrowser based HMI and scada software solution and showed the advantages of this state of the art technology.

We are pleased to announce that once again a renowned high-tech company has decided to partner with Certec. But this time it is beyond the usual measure: retroactive as of 1/1/2012, the automation company Bachmann electronic GmbH in Feldkirch/Austria holds the majority of Certec.

For us this circumstance offers the possibility of sustainable, world-wide distribution of our technology while ensuring the long-term and wide-spread availability of our product line atvise.

The latest release of webMI2ADS - version 2.0.2 - is now ready for downloading!
Included is among others an improved login and various bugfixes.

webMI2ADS is a very slim and compact web server with an ADS interface (Beckhoff native PLC interface). It can be integrated on nearly any ethernet based Beckhoff PLC and provides full data access including automatic import of all PLC variables and types.
